The FoundationWatoto Foundation and Wazee Foundation, established on March 5, 2007.The hospitality and friendship that we were so fortunate to receive during our short stay in Tanzania, January 2007, was uplifting. Tanzania is indeed a beautiful country, but we also noticed the poverty among large population groups. Especially homeless street-children and elderly people are living in desperate situations.We don’t want to be indifferent in the face of the poverty that affects these vulnerable people.By establishing this Foundation, together with you, we would like to help improve the situation of dozens of Tanzanian children and elderly. The primary aim of the Foundation is:To establish a Wazee-home in Moshi for ten homeless elderly. Moshi is located in the Kilimanjaro district.Board of WaWaf Foundation:-Emily Kimambo, chairwoman was born and raised in Moshi, Tanzania.
